Canon Hong Kong enthusiastically sponsored and supported the annual fundraising walkathon “Walk for The Green Earth” and sent its hiking team to challenge 12km night walk in Sai Kung Pak Tam Chung, organized by The Green Earth on 11th January 2020. All participants have brought along their own reusable water bottles and food containers, took their litter home and avoid unnecessary waste generation to countryside.

Held on the 10 Nov, a team of 60 Canon HK volunteers joined together for the beach clean-up service at Tsin Yue Wan in Tai O, co-organized by the Green Earth. A total of 100 bags of waste weighing around 300 kg were picked, which included 790 plastic bottles of drinks, shampoo and medicine, beverage cartons and pieces of Styrofoam.
