Food donation for the needy to against the adversity
Cohered with the Canon corporate philosophy “Kyosei”, Canon Hongkong Co., Ltd. (Canon HK) shows care to our community by organizing food donation activity to help the disadvantaged group to get through the tough time during the outbreak of COVID-19. During February, colleagues of Canon HK were encouraged to donate intact packaged food to the 2 beneficiaries - Kindness Centre from St. James Settlement as well as People Service Centre, which will help to distribute the food to the singleton elderly, low income family and ripped room kids. Over 500 items of food have been collected from staff and the company purchased another 500 preferred food as extra in-kind donation to the beneficiaries and invited also our business partner, Kerry Logistic to support this meaningful activity together by providing complimentary transportation of donated food to the 2 beneficiaries.
