Canon Hong Kong in 15 consecutive years to support Orbis World Sight Day to fight for the sight saving mission
Hold on the 2nd Thursday of every October, the World Sight Day organized by Orbis is aimed not only to increase the public awareness of the significant needs to take better care of their eye sight, but also to gather all the fund raising power to support the medical supplies, equipment and resources for Orbis sight saving missions, giving a life-transforming chances to the needlessly blind people and families.
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon HK) is always a long supporter to Orbis and continue its support to World Sight Day for 15 consecutive years. Within 2-week fundraising period, a total donation of HK$18,590 is raised. On the event day of 10th October, 185 staff wear the special collectible Orbis World Sight Day pin featuring various sight-saving essentials, such as eye drops, medicine & monitor, to present support every mission in fighting global blindness.
