Canon invited members of the Hong Kong Greater China SME Alliance Association to the "SME Solution Day" which was held on 28 October 2024 at the Canon Business Experience Center. On the event day, our solution consultants conducted three seminars, offered relevant live demonstrations and customized solution provided customized solution packages to target the specific needs of SMEs, ensuring they received tailored support and practical insights to enhance their business operations.

In view that resource constraints are always one of the main challenges faced by SMEs, especially labor resources, AI Genie, powered by advanced Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, is proposed to the guests as a powerful tool designed to help SMEs streamline their operations and enhance efficiency. By automating repetitive tasks like extracting multilingual text and data in file in any format, document comparison and summarization based on designated role. AI Genie not only relieves the work burden of existing staff, but also reduces human error to save valuable time.

In addition to AI Genie, Canon offers a comprehensive range of solutions designed to provide small and medium-sized enterprises with maximum flexibility and operational efficiency. The intelligent document management solution, Therefore, introduces customizable OT and e-Leave applications. Employees can review records and submit applications via the web and mobile apps. Supervisors and HR departments receive automated email notifications from the system and can approve requests with a single click in Microsoft Teams.

The latest human resources management system automates routine HR tasks such as attendance tracking, expense claims processing, payroll handling and more. This ensures a smooth transition to the eMPF platform, compliance with the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and Employment Ordinance.

The cloud output management solution, uniFLOW Online, creates a flexible printing experience for businesses, offering authentication methods such as HID cards or facial recognition. Users can print documents directly from the cloud and scan to multiple cloud platforms, with the transmission process adhering to AES 256-bit encryption standards to prevent data leakage.
