Canon Hong Kong held the "Innovation Day” on 4 June 2025, presenting multiple groundbreaking commercial application solutions. The event aimed to demonstrate how integrating cutting-edge technology with strategic implementation helps enterprises achieve their goals and collectively advance the new era of smart offices.
During the seminar, Mr. Ivan Kwok, Senior Manager of Canon Hong Kong, introduced solutions and products for intelligent document management, print management, room booking, and visitor management to the attendees. Live demonstration allowed guests to experience Canon’s latest technologies firsthand, gaining deeper insights into their diversified applications and advantages.

AI Document Management Solution – AI Genie
Utilizes Agentic AI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) technology to provide precise, human-like responses and constructive suggestions. It rapidly comprehends information through complex reasoning, performs advanced logical analysis and causal inference, and instantly solves cross-industry challenges. For instance, AI Genie assists HR department to instantly analyze hundreds of resumes, provides scoring, and generates comparison charts to significantly streamline screening processes. For the finance department, AI Genie can extract data from purchase orders, automatically generates invoices, and cross-checks information to ensure accuracy.
Print Management Solution – uniFLOW
Seamlessly connects with cloud and on-premises servers, allowing serverless mobile print and direct scan to various cloud platforms. The data transmission of print and scan jobs is safeguarded by the AES‐256-bit encryption and supports various authentication methods to prevent data leakage.
Room Booking and Visitor Management Solution
Users can reserve meeting rooms anytime via mobile app and check-in using QR code or PIN. The system integrates with Microsoft Teams and Outlook, syncing invitations while displaying attendees' schedules in real-time during the booking process. Combined with self-service visitor management, staff receive instant notifications upon visitor arrival to ensure prompt reception—enabling sustainable smart office environments while optimizing resource allocation and cost management.
