DRUPA next age - Canon pre-show
On March 12, 2024, Canon Hong Kong held the "DRUPA next age - Canon pre-show" sharing event at Carna by Dario Cecchini in Tsim Sha Tsui. This convivial event served as a platform to gather guests from the printing industry to exchange ideas and thoughts before Drupa. Meanwhile, Canon led the guests to preview the latest developments of its commercial and production printing system that will be showcased in Drupa, aiming to expose tomorrow’s technology to the participants and assist enterprises to pioneer the next age of printing.
Mr. Philip Chew, the Director and General Manager of Canon Singapore, along with Mr. Philip Chan, the Senior Director and General Manager of Canon Hong Kong, shared on the future trends in production inkjet printing technology. They also revealed our significant breakthroughs in four key themes at the Drupa, including Commercial Print, Promotional Communications, Publishing, and Label & Packaging. With the integration of automated workflows and intelligent quality control, Canon’s commercial printing system can speed up production cycles, complete end-to-end processes independently with plan-ahead production, empowering clients to optimize business operations and accelerate business growth.
Various printing samples were also displayed during the event, demonstrating Canon’s capabilities in offering outstanding productivity, uncompromising quality, and unparalleled flexibility. These strengths enable the seamless transition of printing media and produce customized output. With the piezoelectric drop-on-demand print heads and processing, it enables the printing system to present the delicate, eye-catching, and exquisite color, sharp image, and high-fidelity printing output on diversified media while minimizing ink consumption.
