Highlights of PrintHOW 2025 Conference
The PrintHOW 2025 Conference brought together APAC industry leaders to explore digital inkjet transformation and the future of printing. Canon was honored to invite speakers around the globe, showcasing its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Guests heard success stories of businesses leveraging advanced technologies for efficiency and customization, while discussions highlighted global trends like cost efficiency, Industry 4.0 integration, and sustainability.
Welcome Addresses
Mr. Gary Lee, President and CEO of Canon Hong Kong, kick-started the event by welcoming industry leaders across APAC region to PrintHOW 2025, stressing Canon’s commitment to empowering partners through digital inkjet transformation.
Mr. Peter Wolff, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Canon Production Printing, highlighted Inkjet’s transformative role in global printing workflows, urging businesses to embrace agility and sustainability. He addressed industry challenges, Canon’s growth ambitions, and its shift from toner to inkjet innovation, showcasing next-gen solutions to help businesses adapt to evolving market demands.
Customer Success Spotlights
Mr. Jackson Leung, CEO of C & C Joint Printing Co., (H.K.) Ltd., shared his digital inkjet transformation journey, emphasizing how Canon’s ProStream series enhanced operational efficiency. He discussed C&C’s digital strategies, sustainability goals, and the advantages of ProStream 1000, including offset-like quality, high-volume capacity, and faster turnaround times. Mr. Leung also highlighted the importance of managerial vision and strategic investment in IT, platforms, and software for successful digital transformation.
Mr. Yukinori Okamoto, CEO of goof Inc., Japan, emphasized leveraging digital inkjet innovation for decentralized, agile printing solutions. He highlighted goof’s focus on mass customization, sustainability, and transforming inefficiencies into opportunities. Key initiatives included their flagship R&D facility “CAMPUS,” CO2 emission visualization tool GEMiNX, and partnerships to create value through distributed printing, aiming to redefine the role of print in a digital era.
Mr. Patprapas Amornworanat, Deputy MD of O.S. Printing House, Thailand, emphasized inkjet-driven growth in personalized packaging and textiles. He outlined the company’s legacy, market challenges, and trends before adopting digital inkjet technology. Sharing insights on investing in inkjet solutions, he highlighted the successful implementation of Canon’s varioPRINT iX2100, showcasing its impact on operational efficiency and high-speed inkjet experience.
Market Insights
Ms. Michaela Sygusch, Director of Regional Business Management for Asia Pacific, and Mr. Christoph Gauss, Director of Marketing & Graphic Arts at Canon Production Printing, analyzed major market trends and Canon’s global success in production printing. They highlighted the transformative impact of inkjet technology, fastest-growing print markets, and key drivers like cost efficiency, Industry 4.0 integration, and sustainability. They also shared global success stories and emphasized the power of collaboration in driving digital inkjet transformation.

Moderated by Philip Chan, Advisor of Canon Hong Kong, the panel featuring Mr. Jackson Leung, Mr. Yukinori Okamoto, Mr. Patprapas Amornworanat, Mr. Peter Wolff, and Mr. Philip Chew discussed balancing short-term profitability with long-term strategic investments in digital printing. Canon sincerely thanked C&C Joint Printing for welcoming attendees to their factory during PrintHOW 2025, offering a firsthand look at their century-old legacy and digital transformation. Guests explored C&C’s journey from traditional craftsmanship to cutting-edge innovation, beginning with a welcome speech delivered by Mr. Hung from C&C, followed by the tour of Footprints of C&C Printing in a Century and visit to the Printing Showroom where displayed a series of print samples from luxury packaging, books to security prints.
The highlight was witnessing the ProStream 1000 Series in live operation, where guests observed its high-speed, offset-quality output and flexibility, streamlining workflows and enabling intelligent manufacturing. C&C’s commitment to innovate while preserving traditional printing techniques inspires us all. We are honored to collaborate with a partner that continuously pushes the boundaries of what’s possible.
Asia One Printing Limited in Hong Kong
PrintHOW 2025 also featured a factory visit to Asia One Printing Limited, which immersed guests in a hands-on exploration of digital innovation. Guests witnessed live demonstrations of Canon’s high-speed varioPRINT iX series, while Mr. Peter Lau, Managing Director of Asia One, detailed its successful story behind. The visit also included tours of The Art Space, where showcased Mr. Lau’s personal collection bridging art and printing technology, and Mr. Jason Lau, Associate Director of Asia One, introduced Paperducc, its subsidiary specializing in innovative paper engineering.
The varioPRINT iX series excels in high productivity and versatility, offering stunning output at speeds of up to 9,000 SRA3 images per hour or 320 A4 images per minute. It handles diverse media up to 350gsm, making it ideal for photo products, brochures, and marketing collateral. With automated workflows and energy-efficient design, it reduces operational costs, minimizes waste, and supports sustainable, agile production for short runs and fast turnaround times.
