In order to introduce the “Go Green” concept to more companies, Canon HK and World Green Organization (WGO) co-organized again the face-to-face event - “Create Contemporary Green Workplace with Business Mobility” on 11 Sep 2020. The event invited WGO members to Canon Business Experience Center to closely experience our mobility solutions and office hacks to optimize business operation and create a green office.
Without a systematic management, office printing might easily lead to unnecessary waste of resources. Eco-friendly designs can be seen everywhere in Canon HK office. For example, the use of energy-efficient T5 fluorescent and LED lightings, light sensor and time controller for office lighting system that turn lights off when ambient light level reaches 650 lux, and segregated lighting zone by departments so as to save energy at the office. Furthermore, used coffee grounds are also recycled to re-use as planting fertilizer or smell absorber. All of which can help reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions, paving the way for an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly office.
