    Canon Hongkong was pleased to be the speaker for “2018 HKIM Experience Sharing Seminar” organized by Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), held at the School of Continuing and Professional Education of City University of Hong Kong (SCOPE) in Admiralty on 28 March 2018. Over 50 HKIM members were participated in the seminar. Canon Hongkong shared the expectations on technology in the coming future, and how to apply our Video Analytics Solution to help the retail industry from online and offline marketing.

    In this customer-oriented world, customer data is essential in analyzing their purchasing behavior and decision making path, so as to tailor marketing strategies and advertising campaign to satisfy their demands and market expansion. Canon Video Analytics Solution is able to collect accurate customer data by using the latest technologies: People counting, face recognition and heat mapping. Marketer can therefore obtain a better understand on customer behavior by looking at the real-time report generated by the solution. Better store operation in terms of more efficient manpower allocation and store resources management can also be achieved.
