Canon Hong Kong Support the ‘Earth Hour’ Light Off Campaign for 14 Consecutive Years
Organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature, the annual global environmental movement event, Earth Hour calls for action of turning non-essential lights off and standby mode electrical appliances for one hour on the same day at the same hour to show the same wish of “Habits Protect Habitats”.
As a responsible corporate citizen, Canon Group worldwide fully supported the Earth Hour and called on branch companies worldwide to support this meaningful campaign on 26 March from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. this year. Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) continued to participate for 14 consecutive years and encouraged all staff to go beyond the one hour a year to reduce our environmental footprint in daily life.
Canon Hong Kong responds to the appeal of Earth Hour by turning off the non-essential lighting and stand-by mode electrical appliances on the event day.
Promotional messages were posted on the social media platforms of Canon Hong Kong to encourage more people to support this meaningful light off campaign.
