Canon Hong Kong Received the TVB ESG Award for the Second Consecutive Year

Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) firmly believes that a company's success is not solely defined by economic performance but also by its contributions to society and the environment. We have always upheld the corporate philosophy of " Koysei " and consistently integrated social responsibilities into our corporate activities and embedded Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies to promote sustainable development. We were honored for the second consecutive year with the "ESG Special Recognition Award - with Merit" at the "TVB ESG Awards 2025" organized by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), further affirming that our efforts in ESG have been widely recognized by the market.

With the vision of Canon Environmental Charter and "Green Action" initiatives, we are fully committed to implementing ESG practices across all aspects of our business. Within our office, we have introduced a series of energy-saving measures and internal recycling programs including rechargeable batteries, ink cartridges, clothing recycling, item sharing corner and regular donation activities. We also fully adopted smart business solutions to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption. Additionally, we organized the “Green Intelligence Office Tour", inviting partners and clients for visits to enhance awareness and collaboration about environmental protection and carbon reduction measures within the industry.

Furthermore, we actively engage with the community through volunteer programs focused on social and environmental protection, such as tree planting, ecological tours, and beach clean-ups. In 2025, we launched a brand-new corporate volunteer initiative — “1-Staff-1-Service”, encouraging all employees to participate in volunteer work during office hours to give back to society. We also continue to promote environmental awareness through initiatives such as the “Ink Cartridge Recycling Program" and the "Canon x McDull Inter-school Ink Cartridge Recycling Competition". Nearly 300 recycling boxes have been set up across Hong Kong, and more than 285,000 cartridges have been collected to date, encouraging the public and schools to contribute to environmental efforts.
