Global Innovation Day 2025
Global Innovation Day 2025, organized by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA), was successfully held on 23 January 2025. This annual event featured a series of remarkable activities, including the final judging of the Global Innovation Awards, the Canon Collaborator Luncheon, an innovation summit, and a full-day exhibition. The event aimed to contribute to the development of Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub, attracting participants from Hong Kong, mainland China, and various overseas countries and regions.

During the event, Canon’s consultants demonstrated the practical application of the AI document management solution, AI Genie. This advanced solution is powered by Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology, significantly enhancing operational efficiency across diverse industries. AI Genie can accurately recognize handwritten text in multiple languages, including traditional and simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese. It automatically extracts key information and synchronizes it with document management systems, ensuring seamless internal information flow. AI Genie also supports features such as generating custom-written emails, drafting contracts, side-by-side document comparison, and summarization in just a few seconds, making business optimization easier than ever.
