    Joining the scheme for 19 consecutive years, Canon Hong Kong has awarded the Caning Company 15 Years Plus Logo in Recognition of its Caring Action during the Epidemic Period

    Canon Hong Kong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has shouldered with Hong Kong people to go through the unprecedented pandemic attack in past years. In line with our corporate philosophy “Kyosei”, we continue to work closely with various charitable organizations to reach out those in need, with the aim of giving back to the community with our imaging expertise and resources to demonstrate Canon Hong Kong’s social responsibility in action. Canon Hong Kong is honored that these efforts are recognized by the partnered NGOs which nominated us as "Caring Company" via the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS).

    This year, Canon Hong Kong was proudly awarded the “Caring Company 15 Years Plus” logo to honor our continuous efforts in the area of “Caring for the Community”, “Caring for the Employees” and “Caring for the Environment”. It is the 19 consecutive years for Canon to join the scheme. By participated and contributed to wide range of activities including environmental protection, caring to grassroots sector, support to the photography classes for the special education needs people & donation to ease the pandemic, Canon Hong Kong received nominations from 8 organizations below (listed in no particular order)

    2. Christian Family Service Centre
    3. Everbright Concern Action
    4. Hong Kong Family Welfare Society
    5. Hong Kong Red Cross
    6. The Green Earth
    7. World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong (WWF-HK)
    8. Yan Chai Hospital Social Services Department

    Caring Company Scheme was first introduced in 2002 by HKCSS, aimed to establish a platform for the strategic partnerships between the business sector and the social community, to promote the corporate social responsibility and sustainable social development, and to honor the contribution of the corporations. According to the official statistics from HKCSS, the number of enterprises and organizations awarded in 2022-2023 reached a new record high of 4,408, and the number of volunteer hours also reached 170,000, shown that the epidemic has not affected the enthusiasm of enterprises to promote social responsibility.

    Canon Hong Kong has been awarded the "Caring Company 15 Years Plus "logo for the contribution to the caring of community, employees and the environment. It is the 19 consecutive years for Canon to join the scheme.

    As the corporate member of The Green Earth & WWF-HK, Canon Hong Kong Corporate Volunteer Team participated in various activities such as “Hiking Trail Clean Up Service” & “Remove Invasive Species Mikania”, to promote and embody sustainable green life and protect biodiversity.
