Canon Hong Kong has Bestowed the Silver Award of the 2020 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence in the “Servicing and Trading” Category
Responding to climate change, the "Hong Kong Climate Action Blueprint 2050", setting out the vision of "Zero-carbon Emissions‧Liveable City‧Sustainable Development", and outlining the strategies and targets for combating climate change and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
To achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) is taking proactive actions, fully implementing environmental and carbon reduction measures in every aspect of the business, conducting green office experience tours for business partners to share their green initiatives and intelligent solutions that will help companies improve work efficiency and productivity. Canon Hong Kong's environmental conservation measures were recognized by the industry and bestowed the silver award of the 2020 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) in the "Servicing and Trading" category.
HKAEE is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) alongside the Environmental Protection Department and in conjunction with nine organizations. The HKAEE is one of the most prestigious and reputable award schemes in Hong Kong. The award scheme assesses performance of companies on the aspects of ‘Green Leadership’, ‘Programme and Partner Synergy’. These elements are considered to be vital in the overall integration of environmental measures within the organization.
