    Canon Hong Kong supported UCI Track Cycling World Championship 2017

    Co-organized by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Cycling Association of Hong Kong (CAHK), the “UCI Track Cycling World Championships 2017” was successfully held at Hong Kong Velodrome from 12 – 16 April 2017 and recorded over 12,700 entrances to watch the races. The competition was the highest-ranked international track cycling competition ever hosted in Hong Kong and was also be the second time in track cycling history to be hosted in Asia city after Japan in 1990. Over 300 elite cyclists from 41 countries and regions gathered together to complete for the “Rainbow Jersey”, a symbol of UCI World Champion.

    Canon Hong Kong (Canon HK) shows continuous support to local cycling sports and development since 2014 and is proud again to be the “Official Supplier in Office Equipment” of this world-class competition after “2015/2016 UCI Track Cycling World Cup - Hong Kong”. A series of office printing equipment and consumables has been supported to facilitate the race office operation before and during the competition period.

    The competition has been divided into different categories for Men, Women & Team to compete including Time Trial, Sprint, Pursuit, Keirin, Scratch Race, Point’s Race, Madison & Omnium. Hong Kong Cycling Team member, Ms. Sarah Lee Wai Sze, received good result by winning bronze medal in Women’s Sprint, congratulations!

    Over 12,700 entrances were recorded in the 5-day competition. Citizens were keen and engaged in the races as well as cheered for Hong Kong Team.
