Detailed Terms and Conditions to be inserted in the hyperlink / directly on the promotion:
1. Upon choosing to participate in Double Rewards for New Company Account Member (the “Event”), you shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions (this “Agreement”). For the purpose of this Agreement, “participant(s)” and “you” are used interchangeably.
2. Promotion Period of the Event is from 15 April 2024 to 31 December 2024 (both dates are inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
Eligibility and Redemption Arrangement
3. Only corporate customers who are not existing Club Canon members are eligible for the Event, while only selected customers receiving designated referral code are eligible to redeem the gift of 50 K Dollars (“K Dollars”). Canon reserves the sole and absolute right to decide the mechanism of allocating designated referral codes.
4. The following steps shall be completed during the Promotion Period to participate in the Event:
a. You shall register as Club Canon company member under Company Account at https://www.canon.com.hk/en/member/profile/registration_company.do.
b. To redeem the gift of K Dollars, you shall insert a valid referral code at “Referral Code” box at time of registration. Kindly note that completing the submission of information at the above webpage does not mean the referral code is valid or K Dollars can be successfully redeemed. The redemption result will be subject to separate verification and confirmation by Canon.
5. Gifts redemption arrangement:
a. Upon completion of new member registration, 1,000 Club Canon loyalty points (“Club Canon Loyalty Points”) will be credited to your Club Canon account within twenty (20) working days.
b. Separately, Canon will notify eligible participants the redemption method of K Dollars via email within twenty (20) working days after verifying the eligibility of the participants. Eligible participants shall redeem the K Dollars within a specified time period. For redemption details, please refer to instructions in the email.
c. Club Canon Loyalty Points together with K Dollars shall be collectively referred as “Gifts”.
6. Any products and/or services provided by third party in this Event, including but not limited to K Dollars, shall be subject to terms and conditions of relevant third party provider. There is no contract of employment, relationship of agency or partnership, or joint venture between Canon and any third party provider. Canon shall not be responsible for any legal liability in respect of any products and/or services provided by third party or any loss or damage arising from the use of or inability to redeem products and/or services. Canon makes no representation or warranty as to any third party products and/or services.

8. Each email and/or phone number in relation to registration of Club Canon account will only entitle a participant to redeem the Gifts once in the Event.
9. Each referral code shall only be used once in the Event. Once submitted, the referral code will become invalid. In case of repeated use (whether due to system error or otherwise), Canon reserves the right to verify and cancel Gift Redemption resulted from repeated use of the same referral code.
10. The offer of the Gifts is only available to the eligible participants and cannot be transferred to others. Canon may verify the account name and identity at time of redemption.
Disqualification
11. Canon reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify or exclude any participant from the Event and/or redeeming the Gifts and/or demand the return of any Gifts to Canon without prior notice if the participant:a. commits a breach of this Agreement;
b. provides untrue or invalid personal data;
c. provides inconsistent personal data at the time of enrollment and redemption;
d. is found to be participating in the Event and/or redeeming the Gifts in any illegal or dishonest manner; or
e. is reasonably considered by Canon to be suitable to be disqualified or excluded.
Personal Data
12. Participants acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, storage, transfer and/or processing of personal data by Canon during the course of the Event for the purpose related to the Event and/or redemption of Gifts. Participants agree and authorize Canon to use their personal data so collected for the purposes of the Event, including making contact, record or all relevant purposes.
13. The personal data provided by participants and collected by Canon will be used by Canon for one or more of the following purposes:
a. For notifying participants of Event’s arrangement and verifying participants’ identity;
b. For creation, processing and maintenance of participants’ enrollment record for the administration and monitoring of the Event;
c. For statistical and analytical purposes; andd. Any other legitimate purposes as may be required or authorized by law.
14. Your participation in the Event and agreement to the collection, use, storage, transfer and/or processing any personal data is voluntary and independent. If participants do not provide sufficient information, participants may not be able to participate in the Event.
15. The personal data provided by participants are mainly for use within Canon and/or our affiliated companies but the information may also be disclosed by Canon to other third parties for the purposes stated above, if required. Canon will treat the personal data provided by participants in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (“PDPO”) and our privacy policy (https://hk.canon/en/consumer/web/privacy-policy) amended from time to time. If participants would like any further information regarding our policies and practices or like to exercise the rights under PDPO, please refer to our privacy policy.
16. Any personal data provided to Canon may be processed, accessed, stored and/or transferred outside Hong Kong and/or Macau and/or to Canon’s affiliates or third party service providers including but not limited to cloud server providers situated outside Hong Kong and/or Macau. Such locations may offer a different level of protection of personal data. If Canon transfers participants’ personal data outside Hong Kong and/or Macau, Canon will make sure to protect participants’ personal data by applying the level of protection required under applicable data privacy laws.
17. In relation to redemption of K Dollars, participants acknowledge and agree that third party provider may separately request participants to provide personal data. Relevant matters shall be subject to the privacy policy and/or terms and conditions of relevant third party. Canon shall not be responsible for any legal liability in respect thereof.
Miscellaneous
18. Gifts are not transferrable nor exchangeable for cash and/or any other goods.
19. All Gifts are available on a first come, first served basis while stock lasts.
20. Offer in the Event cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discount and/or activity.
21. Canon is not responsible for and shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any problems, technical malfunction or security loophole of any communication network, computer hardware or software or internet system; or due to any mistake made or actions by the participants during the Event and/or redemption/enjoyment of any Gifts.
22. All time is based on the time of receipt of information submitted at the Canon server. Late registration and/or redemption will not be accepted.
23. Canon reserves the right to amend, supplement, extend, renew, terminate and interpret this Agreement from time to time.
24. Canon shall have the sole and absolute right towards the Event and/or any Gifts, including the right to cancel, postpone or change any details of the Event and/or any Gifts without prior notice to any parties.
25. Canon shall not be liable to participants for any loss, damage, cost and/or expense directly or indirectly suffered by participants (including but not limited to, loss of profit, loss of saving, loss of goodwill, loss of revenue or loss of contract incurred by participants, whether anticipated or actual, or any special indirect or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever) or any action, claim and proceeding taken against participants by any third party or parties in connection with, incidental to and consequential upon the performance of Canon and/or its employees and/or its independent contractors and/or its collaborating partners in relation to the Event or any Gifts. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, to the extent permitted by law, Canon’s total aggregate liability in contract, tort, equity or otherwise for any direct loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Event and/or any Gifts shall be limited to HK$100.
26. Any failure or delay by Canon to exercise or enforce any right under this Agreement shall not be deemed to be a waiver of that right nor operate to bar the exercise or enforcement of it at any time or times thereafter.
27. The provisions contained in each clause of this Agreement shall be enforceable independently of each of the others and its validity shall not be affected if any of the others is invalid. In the event any provision of this Agreement is determined to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall not be affected.
28. In the event of any dispute, Canon reserves the right of final decision.
29. A person who is not a participant in the Event shall have no right at law to enforce this Agreement.
30. This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (“Hong Kong”). Participants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong Courts in connection with any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement.
31. This Agreement is prepared in English and the Chinese translation is provided for reference only. In case of any inconsistency or ambiguity, the English version shall prevail.
