Canon Hong Kong Offers Complimentary Photo Shoot and Print Services to Underprivileged Students
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has been leveraging on our strengths in imaging technologies and innovations to give back to the community in line with the spirit of ‘Imaging for Good’ over the years. Thus, Canon Hong Kong partnered with three service centers under Yan Chai Hospital to provide complimentary photo shoot and print service to primary school children from underprivileged families.
On 24 July, 38 children from Yan Chai Hospital Yim Tsui Yuk Shan Fuk Loi Integrated Community Development Centre, Yan Chai Residence and Jockey Club Yan Chai Community Hub were dressed in school uniforms and received professional photo shooting services offered by Canon Hong Kong in a relaxing and enjoyable environment, expressing the most genuine smiles in front of the camera. After the photo shoot, the children immediately received the photos printed by the Canon instant compact photo printer. Each student was given a dozen photos to be used in the next school year.
Canon Hong Kong has always maintained long-standing and close relationship with Yan Chai Hospital. Apart from donating printers and consumables to support the long-term learning needs of youngsters, we have also co-organized a number of “Imaging For Fun Workshops” to inspire the creativity of the next generation through photo shoot and print, as well as taking ID photos for the elderly. Looking ahead, we will continue to collaborate closely to demonstrate corporate social responsibilities and provide continuous support to the needy in the community.
