Canon Hong Kong Received the World Green Organisation - Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme 2017 (GOALS) for 5th consecutive years
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon HK) strives its best effort as an environmental conservation organization, implements various green initiates in its workplace in order to reduce energy consumption. On 20 November, 2017, Canon HK attended the award presentation ceremony for Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme (GOALS) and ECO-Healthy Workplace which was organized by the World Green Organisation (WGO). Canon HK was recognized for its excellent environmental consciousness management for 9 categories of green criteria: Energy savings, Water savings, Waste reduction, Paper/Printing reduction, Green Procurement, IT use and disposal, Transportation, Education and awareness, Green Innovation.
Canon HK has been enthusiastically participating in GOALS since the project’s inauguration since 2013 and proud to be one of the 5 pilot companies to support green office measurements. It is glad to see there are total 300 participating companies this year, including small-medium enterprise to large corporation. To encourage more companies to participate green office, Canon HK recommends GOALS to its business clients, because they not only saved electricity and paper through Canon office printing solution, but utilize the company resources by managing colleagues’ printing habit, which is also the aim of GOALS. Canon HK will continue to be the ambassador to inspire more companies and promote green office practices to create a sustainable world.
