Canon unveils 3 New Lens and Accessories, RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z, Power Zoom PZ – E2, RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM, and RF-S10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM
HONG KONG, 3rd November, 2023 — Canon announced today the launch of 3 New Lens and accessories, including the first RF Lens designed for Hybrid Shooting RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z and Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2. Canon also introduced the Super-telephoto zoom lens RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM and compact Ultra-wide Angle zoom lens RF-S10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM which is designed for APS-C EOS R-series camera.
The shooting range of F2.8 L zoom lens series is expanded with newly introduced RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z. Being the first RF lens designed for hybrid shooting, RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z features iris ring for the first time and adopts an internal zoom design with fixed length, it also is compatible with the newly introduced Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2, satisfying the needs of sophisticated professionals for smooth and seamless zooming.
RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM is the World’s first super-telephoto zoom lens for mirrorless camera[1] with a telephoto end of 800mm. With a weight of approximately 2,050 grams, the lens’ lightweight design reduces the burden of handheld photography, giving users the ability to wait for a distant subject that unexpectedly comes along, best for advanced amateurs to explore birds, wildlife, outdoor sports photography.
With the addition of the RF-S10-18mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM, the first ultra-wide-angle zoom lens in the RF-S series, the RF-S series lens family is further expanded. This ultra-wide-angle 10-18mm (16-29mm equivalent) zoom lens allows photographers to shoot with a wider angle of view. Equipped with image stabilization (IS), this compact and lightweight lens offers high image quality at a reasonable price, providing next-generation content creators and photographers a great option for vlogging, travel, and landscape shooting.
