Canon Hong Kong Proudly Received the First TVB ESG Award
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) firmly believes that a company's success is not only determined by economic benefits but also by its contributions to society and the environment. Therefore, we have always upheld the corporate philosophy of "Koysei" and are committed to fulfilling our social responsibilities through various corporate activities. We also promote sustainable development through integrating our "Environmental, Social and Governance" (ESG) strategies. We are honored to receive the "ESG Special Recognition Award - with Merit" at the "TVB ESG Award 2024" organized by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), further validating to the market's recognition of our efforts in ESG.
With the vision of Canon Environmental Charter and "Green Action", we are fully committed to implementing ESG practices in our daily operations. Environmentally, we not only organize various internal recycling programs but also adopt a series of energy-saving measures within the office premises, such as turning off lights during lunch, using energy-efficient appliances, and installing T5 fluorescent. We have adopted comprehensive smart business solutions to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption. Additionally, we organized the “Green Intelligence Office Tour", inviting partners and clients for visits to enhance awareness and communication about environmental protection and carbon reduction measures within the industry. Furthermore, we actively participate in community volunteer activities focused on environmental protection and giving back to society. We have also launched multiple initiatives, such as the "Canon x McDull Inter-school Ink Cartridge Recycling Competition", partnered with "The Green Earth" to organize the " Hiking Trail Cleanup" Service, Beach Cleaning Service and participated in “Plantation Enrichment Program” encouraging the public and schools to contribute to environmental efforts.
