Hong Kong, 5^th February 2026 — Canon today announced the launch of two innovative RF lenses designed to push the boundaries of ultra-wide-angle imaging for professional photographers and videographers: the RF14mm F1.4 L VCM and the RF7-14mm F2.8-3.5 L FISHEYE STM.

The launch of RF14mm F1.4 L VCM further expands the lineup of Ultra-Fast F1.4 Hybrid RF lens. Its ultra-wide 104° horizontal field of view with a bright F1.4 aperture, enabling dramatic perspectives, strong low light performance, and beautifully rendered bokeh. The RF14mm F1.4 L VCM is the first Canon ultra wide-angle lens to feature a Fluorite lens, effectively suppresses chromatic aberration along with a BR lens and a UD lens. Despite being a 14mm F1.4 lens, its compact and lightweight design weighs approx. 578g and measures approx. 112mm in length including the integral lens hood. RF14mm F1.4 L VCM delivers exceptional optical performance, compact form factors, and advanced video friendly features, empowering creators across landscape, architecture and astrophotography etc. 

The RF7-14mm F2.8-3.5 L FISHEYE STM is the world’s first fisheye zoom lens capable of covering a 190° circular fisheye angle of view¹, its 7-14mm focal length enables circular²  and diagonal fisheye when attached to a full-frame EOS R camera. It features an integrated drop-in filter slot compatible with “Drop-in Variable ND Filter A” or “Drop-in Circular Polarizing Filter A”, increasing the convenience for video shooting and landscape photography. Its circular fisheye images can be also converted to 2D 180o VR format images/videos using EOS VR Utility. 2. The camera models that support full circular fisheye shooting during video recording are EOS C400, EOS C50, and EOS R6 Mark III, which are compatible with open gate recording. For the C400, firmware ver. 1.4.0.1 or later is required. As of 5^th February 2026.
   
3. Multiple exposure shooting is not supported on EOS R5 / EOS R6 / EOS R / EOS Ra / EOS RP, it is also not possible to shoot multiple exposures with another lens using images shot with this lens. The lens distortion correction on the camera is set to [Enable] automatically when in use.
4. The iris ring can be used to set the aperture value when shooting still images with EOS R5 Mark II or later EOS camera only. During movie shooting, when using the iris ring operation, focusing on a subject by autofocus may be difficult.
   
5. Depends on camera setting, aperture value is displayed in 1/2-stop or 1/3-stop. The aperture value displayed on the camera may differ from the actual aperture value.
   
6. This lens emits weak magnetism, if users with implanted cardiac pacemakers or other medical device experience any abnormalities, stop using the product immediately and consult a doctor. When the lens is not attached to the camera or the power switch of the camera is in the off status when the lens is attached, shaking the lens may cause the internal lens group to shift and noise may occur, but this is not a malfunction. Although the internal lens group shifts due to vibration such as when the lens is carried, this will not affect aspects such as performance.
