Canon Unveils New Timer Remote Controller TC-N3 / TC-E3 For Astrophotography and Time-lapse Photographyand Compact Digital Microphone DM-E10D for Vlogging

HONGKONG, 4th November 2026 — Canon today announced two new accessories: Time Remote Controller TC-N3 / E3, a remote controller purpose-built for astronomy and time-lapse photography, and Digital Microphone DM-E10D, a compact microphone designed for content creators and livestreaming. Canon remains committed to delivering a complete imaging experience for users of all kinds. As demand continues to grow among content creators for professional yet practical equipment, the two new accessories aim to further enrich the end-to-end creative workflow, from capture to recording, meeting the needs of photographers and content creators across different scenarios.

Timer Remote Controller TC-N3 / E3 is designed for astronomy and landscape photographers, as well as for time-lapse movie recording. It offers multiple timer shooting modes and introduces a new “Specified-time shooting” function that allows users to preset a specific time for the camera to begin shooting automatically, without the need to remain on site, making it easier to capture sunrises, star trails, or extended time-lapse sequences.

Digital Microphone DM-E10D is a compact digital microphone for the multi-function shoe, with a wide frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz for clear and natural sound. It adopts a Supercardioid polar pattern, allowing content creators to capture sound from both the front and rear of the camera body. The compact design, together with the new shock mount for reducing external vibrations, weighs only 59g, and is purpose-built for everyday vlogging and livestreaming.

Both accessories are designed to provide users with more flexible and reliable creative tools, whether for extended outdoor shoots or spontaneous everyday recording, helping to meet the growing equipment needs of content creators.

• Features multiple timer-shooting modes including “Self-timer”, “Interval timer”, and “Long exposure timer”. Timer shooting can be performed using a combination of these modes with “Number of shots”.
• New “Specified-time shooting” function allows users to set a specific start time and end time when using in combination with the “Interval timer” and “Long exposure timer” modes.
• In addition to unlimited shooting, the maximum of “Number of Shots” has been increased from 99 shots to 9999 shots for greater flexibility.
