Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon HK) continues its support to the University of Hong Kong (HKU)’s Japan Month “Take a Photo in a Kimono: Japanese Traditional Inns and Their Great Female Managers” for the 7th year.

On 17 April, the pre-registered students gathered at HKU’s University Museum and Art Gallery to join the event. Two Okami-san (female managers) of traditional Japanese Inns were invited from Japan to Hong Kong, to demonstrate the proper way to wear a furisode (the most formal kind of kimono with long sleeves). Students were taught how to dress in these traditional Japanese costumes and enjoyed an exclusive photo shoot and print service offered by Canon HK.
