Canon Hong Kong Receives the “Hong Kong Volunteer Award” for Two Consecutive Years – recognized for its Continuous and Impactful Contribution to Community Care

Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has long embraced the corporate philosophy of "Kyosei”, actively translating this vision into action through a wide range of community initiatives. We are deeply committed to promoting environmental conservation and social inclusion, contributing to the sustainable development of society. Upholding this strong sense of responsibility and long-term commitment, our collective efforts have once again been recognized and honored with the “Hong Kong Volunteer Award” for the second consecutive year, affirming our ongoing dedication to community care.

During the award assessment period, we wholeheartedly engaged in diverse range of community services, with a strong focus on environmental protection and social care, including ecological surveys, beach clean-up, and tree planting initiatives. We also extended warmth and care to the community by preparing nourishing soups for the elderly during festivals and assembling pre-packed meal boxes for people in need. Leveraging our professional expertise in imaging and embracing the spirit of “Imaging For Good”, we supported various charitable organizations by providing professional photo shoot and print services, with more than 1,100 volunteer hours in total.

With this sustained and passionate dedication, Canon Hong Kong was honored with the “Corporate Volunteer Hour Certificate of Appreciation” under the “Hong Kong Volunteer Award 2025”, further demonstrating our long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility. We extend our sincere gratitude to all employees for their selfless contributions and enthusiastic participation. Looking ahead, we will continue to join hands with different sectors of society turning care into action to build a more inclusive, caring and vibrant community together.

The “Hong Kong Volunteer Award”, co-organized by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Agency for Volunteer Service, recognizes the contributions and achievements of local outstanding volunteers, corporations, organizations, estates, schools and institutions. The award is highly regarded, influential and reputable. Its assessment framework consists of two major categories, Volunteer Hours Award and Outstanding Award, covering individuals, teams, corporations, non-profit organizations, residential estates and schools.
