Canon Hong Kong Blood Donation Day 2026 Wraps Up with Success

Spreading Hope for Life Across the Community

Blood is an indispensable resource in the healthcare system. Whether for routine treatment or emergency care, a stable blood supply is vital to saving lives. Each blood donation can save 3 patients, making it a contribution of great significance. For the 14th consecutive year, Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) responded to the call for blood donation by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, and jointly organized the “Blood Donation Day 2026” with Canon Engineering Hong Kong Company Limited (CEHK), Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.) Company Limited (CEBM) and Canon Medical Systems Hong Kong Limited. The event drew the enthusiastic participation of over 60 employees and donated a total of 51 bags of qualified blood, a collective effort that helped safeguard lives.

Donating blood is not only an act of kindness but also brings hope and support to patients in need. This event gave colleagues the opportunity to experience firsthand the importance of blood donation, deepened their understanding of the healthcare system and fostered the habit of regular blood donation, which helps maintain a stable blood supply.

Mr. Gary Lee, President and CEO of Canon Hong Kong, stated, “Canon Hong Kong has always cared for the community and actively participates in various corporate social responsibility initiatives to give back to society. We sincerely thank every colleague across Canon group companies in Hong Kong who took part in the blood donation drive. Through this simple yet powerful act, they extended a helping hand to people they may never meet, demonstrating remarkable compassion and enthusiasm, and sharing the joy of saving lives.”

Canon Hong Kong will continue to support charitable initiatives and uphold our corporate social responsibility, working hand in hand with all sectors of society to build a caring and supportive community.
