Canon Hong Kong Awarded the “100%HK Branding Award – Outstanding CSR in Environmental Conservation” Three Years in a Row
Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon HK) is proud to be nominated by the Hong Kong Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling Association and delighted to receive the “100%HK Branding Award – Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Environmental Conservation” three years in a row. Canon HK is a long term member of both “Rechargeable Battery Recycling Program” and “Computer and Communication Products Recycling Program” since 2005 and 2008 respectively. While actively participating in their ongoing activities, various internal promotions and seminars have also been organized to boost our employee's recycling awareness.
The award ceremony was held at the “Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival” (HKCCF) at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 23rd August. The number of exhibitor registrations exceeds 200 with over 800 booths and attracts almost 500,000 visitors. The CSR Awards presentation ceremony aims to commend different enterprises their tremendous efforts in anti-epidemic, charity, environmental protection, talent and education, which also invited officials including LegCo Members of the HKSAR, famous entrepreneurs, scholars, and media.
