The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) held the " Navigating Risks & Opportunities: Strategies for SME Success" event on 13 August to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in improving risk management and transforming challenges into opportunities.
During the event, Canon’s consultants introduced the AI Genie, an AI-powered document management solution. This system integrates Agentic AI and GraphRAG technologies, along with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing it to integrate various data sources, conduct deep logical analysis and causal reasoning, and provide professional insights for data-driven decision-making.
Its chatbot is capable of real-time data analysis and chart generation, providing users with clear and concise document summaries. In human resource management, AI Genie 2 assists department heads in drafting job descriptions, analyzing candidates’ qualifications, experience, and salary expectations. It compares candidates with rating table and charts and suggests tailored interview questions, streamlining the recruitment process and enhancing the onboarding efficiency.
For finance and accounting, AI Genie 2 efficiently handles accounts payable processes by utilizing AI to perform three-way matching, automatically comparing purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoice data. Any discrepancies are flagged immediately for the finance team to address. Additionally, the system can automatically convert purchase order data into PDF invoices and send them via email, significantly improving processing efficiency and accuracy.
