Canon Group Companies Fully Supports “Earth Hour 2026”

As extreme weather events intensify, our ecosystems and daily lives are facing unprecedented challenges. Canon, embracing the corporate philosophy of "Kyosei", recognizes the critical importance of environmental protection and sustainable development, and remains committed to taking meaningful action to safeguard nature.

Sharing the same vision as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Canon Group actively responds to the appeal and invites its global subsidiaries and partners to support the "Earth Hour" event. The event is held annually in the evening on the fourth Saturday of March, encouraging the public to turn off non-essential lights and electrical appliances from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and inspiring personal habit changes to support a sustainable lifestyle. Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has taken part in this meaningful event for 18 consecutive years and continues to encourage employees to practice energy-saving habits at home, contributing collectively to environmental protection.

Canon Hong Kong will continue to uphold its commitment to environmental conservation and work hand in hand with businesses and the community to create a better, more sustainable future.

Canon Hong Kong responded to the appeal of Earth Hour by turning off all non-essential lighting and electrical appliances on the day of the event.

To promote energy conservation and emission reduction, we also switch off non-essential lighting and electrical equipment during lunchtime, taking practical action to support environmental protection and implement green operations.

Canon Hong Kong encouraged more people to support and participate in the "Earth Hour" event through social media platforms.
