Canon Hong Kong Blood Donation Day 2024 Drew to a Successful Close
Donating blood is just a simple act, but it is of great meaning to those in need, as each blood donation can save 3 patients, sending the sick and injured the priceless gift of life. Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) actively responded to the blood donation call of the Hong Kong Red Cross and jointly organized the "Canon Blood Donation Day" with Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.) Company Limited (CEBM), and Canon Engineering Hong Kong Company Limited (CEHK) on 23 May 2024. The heartwarming event was co-hosted by the Hong Kong Red Cross, together with the tremendous support from more than 50 employees, sharing the joy of donating blood to help others and resulting in a total of 43 packs of qualified blood collected.
In addition, the event also deepened our colleagues’ understanding of the importance of blood donation and the medical system, helping them gradually develop the habit of regular blood donation and continue to contribute to the social welfare and public health.
