When installing a new software version bundled with the EOS REBEL T2i/EOS 550D, what happens with the previous version?
Solution
When installing a new software version, the previous version is automatically overwritten by the new version.
In any of the following cases, the previous version does not need to be uninstalled.
- When installing a new software version supplied with your second or subsequent Canon cameras
- When updating the software to the latest version by using an updater
