Imaging for Fun Workshop - Canon HongKong
Canon Hong Kong brings our imaging expertise to the community by organizing “Imaging for Fun” workshop. Children can create interesting artworks through photo taking and printing. All digital cameras and printing equipment will be provided and no photography experience is needed. Charities are welcome to enroll.
Apart from bringing convenience and happy life style to people, Canon always believes that imaging products are also tools that can help our next generations to unleash possibilities. Canon Hong Kong develops“Imaging for Fun" workshop, aims to integrate Canon’s imaging expertise into our community service. Through tailor-made and interactive content, participating children can enjoy a special fun and creative workshop through photo shoot and print.
We trust that every children has unbounded creativity and to stimulate children’s ability, enjoyment is the key and it is then the purpose of “Imaging for Fun"Workshop, mixture of photography, printing, fun and creativity together.
Workshop Basic Information
- Eligible applicant: Non-profit making / charity organization (with proof of registered charity status,R88)
- Workshop period: Monday - Saturday, priority will be granted to weekday workshop
- No of participants: Max 15 people aged 6 - 11 years old (separate in group of 4 child in lesson)
- Workshop duration: 2 hours
- Workshop location: Canon Image Square OR Applicant organization’s own venue
Workshop rundown
- First 30 mins: Workshop introduction & teaching how to use the camera
- Following 1 hour: Activities with photo shooting
- Last 30 mins: Photo printing and sharing
- The applicant should be the representative of Charity Organization with proof of registered charity status, R88. After enrollment, Canon Hongkong Company Limited ( the organizer) will contact to ask for the supporting document as the proof of Charity Organization.
- Non-profit making/charity organization cannot collect any fee from participants for this workshop.
- The workshop is mainly conducted in Cantonese, with aid of English if necessary.
- The organizerwill provide each participant a digital camerato take photos. Participants arenot required to bring their own digital camera and memory card to the workshop.
- The change of workshop schedule will not be accepted within 5 days prior to the commencement of the workshop.
- Should the weather be unstable on the day of the workshop, the organizer will communicate with registered organization closely to decide final arrangements based on actual weather situations, the organization should notify participating children accordingly:

- If the workshop is cancelled due to weather condition, the organizer will discuss with the registered organization accordingly for the workshop reschedule arrangement.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop due to extreme weather conditions, special circumstances and insufficient enrollments.
- The organizer reserves the right to make any alterations to the workshop details when necessary without prior notice.
