RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is a perfect pair for APS-C EOS R System cameras that delivers exceptional quality in a compact size.
Measuring 69mm in diameter and only 44.3mm in length when fully retracted, the RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM is extremely portable and it only weighs 130g, nearly 40% lighter than the EF-S18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
Full-frame and APS-C
The lens is designed to work across the EOS R system, whether on a full-frame camera or an APS-C camera, offering better convenience.
The RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM's effective focal length is 29-72mm (in 35mm format), suitable for everyday snapshots.
Image Stabilisation
The optical Image Stabilizer on the RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM provides image stabilisation of up to 4 stops and up to 6.5 stops* with Coordinated Control IS.

Getting Up Close
The RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM has Center Focus Macro function that captures mesmerising close-up images with up to 0.26x magnification at 45mm (only with manual focus at a minimum focusing distance of approximately 25cm).
Achieve up to 0.16x magnification at 45mm focal length with autofocus at minimum focusing distance of approximately 35cm.
STM
