HONG KONG, 25 February, 2025 — Canon today announced the launch of two new A3+ Professional Photo Printers: the imagePROGRAF PRO-310 and PIXMA PRO-200S, both designed for photography enthusiasts and graphic artists who appreciate exceptional photo quality and durability.
The imagePROGRAF PRO-310, equipped with the new 10-colour LUCIA PRO II1 pigment ink, delivers outstanding photographic image quality with vibrant colours, deep blacks, and exceptional gloss uniformity. Its advanced ink formulation significantly enhances lightfastness and scratch resistance, creating high-quality printed creations that can be displayed for many years. Meanwhile, the PIXMA PRO-200S offers a reproducible colour gamut that goes beyond 4-colour ink systems, allowing creative professionals to create gallery-ready prints.

Enhanced Light and Scratch Resistance
The LUCIA PRO II pigment ink offers excellent light and scratch resistance, allowing prints to last for up to 200 years2, retaining their colour integrity and textures long after printing. Delicate prints on glossy and lustre surfaces can also be managed easily during the post-printing processes like framing, packaging, transportation, and display.
Elevated Print Quality
For glossy or semi-glossy paper, the Chroma Optimizer ink ensures gloss uniformity under different viewing angles and lighting. It also enhances the depth and clarity of darker areas to reproduce subtle details. For fine art paper, the matte black ink enriches the black tones and improves contrast, resulting in vibrant and expressive prints.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
The imagePROGRAF PRO-310 adopts eco-conscious packaging by replacing polystyrene foam with recyclable cardboard and pulp moulds, reducing plastic usage to minimise environmental impact.

User-Centric Design for Intuitive Printing
PIXMA PRO-200S has a 3-inch colour LCD screen that is user-friendly and easy to operate. Tasks such as connecting to Wi-Fi networks, monitoring of ink levels and ink replacement are simplified. For precise media handling, especially with larger or thicker paper during the printing process, the printer’s Auto Skew Correction feature automatically detects and corrects the alignment, ensuring smooth feeding without making manual adjustments.
Advanced Layout and Media Configuration Solutions
PIXMA PRO-200S’s Professional Print & Layout (PPL) software gives imaging professionals with full control over layout and colour management, ensuring a smooth workflow from image capture to print. Users can adjust colour settings and manage print layouts, making the move from editing to printing a seamless one. Canon’s Media Configuration Tool (MCT) also allows users to manage Canon and third-party media easily.

The TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.3 protocol in PIXMA PRO-200S ensures the security of sensitive data throughout the entire printing process by guarding against data snooping and cyber threats.
