Canon Announces New Ultra-Fast Wide Angle Lens RF35mm F1.4 L VCM and High Performance Compact Speedlite EL-10
HONG KONG, 6th June 2024 — Canon announced today the launch of RF35mm F1.4 L VCM, the first ultra-fast f/1.4 wide angle RF lens designed for hybrid shooting, and Speedlite EL-10, the high performance compact Speedlite for Multi-Function Shoe.
RF35mm F1.4 L VCM's 35mm focal length provides a natural angle of view close to human vision, conveying the image creator’s gaze and ideas as they are; while its f/1.4 large aperture and 11-blade circular diaphragm gives beautiful bokeh. Its “Electronic Floating Focus Control” features a new high-thrust Voice Coil Motor[1] for the first time in Canon RF / EF lens to drive its large “focusing lens group”, along with Nano USM to drive the “floating lens group”, enabling high-speed focusing and seamless focus transitions while staying compact. Focus breathing is also thoroughly suppressed in all focus positions by “Electronic Floating Focus Control”, attaining outstanding stability even when shifting focus for video shooting, meeting high standards of professionals and creators.
Designed for Multi-Function Shoe[2], Speedlite EL-10 offers numerous coordinated functions especially with EOS R6 Mark II, R8 and R50, catering the need of photo amateurs. With powerful flash output of maximum guide number of 40 (meter; ISO 100; 105mm), Speedlite EL-10 helps capture clear and bright natural-looking images as desired for parties, portraits and food shooting. Newly equipped with FE (Flash Exposure) memory function and 11-stop flash output with fine increments of flash power from 1/1024 to 1/1, both experienced and first-time flash users can achieve high performance easily with Speedlite EL-10.
