Canon Hong Kong Corporate Volunteer Team Joined Forest Adventure with Children
Canon Hong Kong Corporate Volunteer Team collaborated with Hong Kong Family Welfare Society Shun Lee Integrated Family Services Center, bringing 15 children aged between 6-10 to enjoy a fruitful Forest Adventure Activities Day in the Tree Top Cottage on 21 October.
10 Canon volunteer staff guided the children and took care of their safety during their participation in the nature adventure activities and group activities. We strongly believe that children and youngsters can sharpen their problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills through participating in the nature adventure activities. This matched with the purpose of the event, which aimed to encourage children to learn outside of the classroom and treasure the nature environment.
The Corporate Volunteer Team guided the children taking nature photos with Canon’s digital camera. Children were excited to review their favorite photos, and shared their unforgettable moments with the volunteers and had closer interactions with them. Children could also choose their favorable nature photos and have them printed out instantly as a memorable gift for sharing with their family and friends. The photo also served as souvenirs for the breakthrough of the children.
