Terms and Conditions of Canon Professional Services (CPS) WhatsApp Services

  1. The personal data collected in the online chat service will be used by Canon Hongkong Company Limited (“Canon”) (and/or through our service provider(s)) for one or more of the following purposes:
    (a) For confirming, contacting and following up with your service request, dealing with your enquiries, keeping records, confirming and/or updating your service request and verifying your identity;
    (b) For creation, processing and maintenance of your service request record for the administration of your service request and monitoring and evaluation of our service;
    (c) For statistical and analytical purposes for improving our business operations or all relevant purposes; and
    (d) Any other legitimate purposes as may be required or authorized under the applicable laws.
  2. Your request for the service and agreement to the collection, use, storage, transfer and/or processing any personal data is voluntary and independent. If you do not provide sufficient information, you may not be able to enjoy the service.

  4. Any personal data provided to us may be processed, accessed, stored and/or transferred outside Hong Kong and/or to our affiliates or third-party service providers including but not limited to cloud server providers situated outside Hong Kong. If we transfer your personal data outside Hong Kong, we will make sure to protect your personal data by applying the level of protection required under applicable data privacy laws.
