Please kindly be noted that the Canon Hong Kong Camera Repair Services is resumed from 15 March (Monday).

14 camera technicians, who have been sent to the Quarantine Centre, have passed the 2nd PCR test with a negative result and have been discharged. The infected camera engineer mentioned in the notice dated 28 February has also been discharged from hospital and advised to home to rest until 22 March.

In Canon, all repaired items have been sanitized during its pre and post-repair procedures to ensure all are disinfected before sending back to customers.

Reopening of the Canon Service Center located at 25/F., Wyler Centre Phase 2, 200 Tai Lin Pai Road, Kwai Chung

Dear Customers,

Further to the infection alert issued on 28 February, please be informed that all staffs stationed at the captioned Canon Service Center have passed the PCR test with a negative result. Upon completion of the deep disinfection, we shall reopen the Canon Service Center from 4 March (Thursday).

Following the advice from CHP, all technicians specializing on camera repair have been sent to the Quarantine Centre until 13 March. We regrettably inform you that the camera repair services would be temporarily suspended until further notice. Individual notice will be sent to the affected customers for alternative arrangements. All other services will resume normal.

Pursuant to the instructions from the Centre for Health Protection (CHP), remaining 11 staff who are working in the same office area with the infected engineer have been arranged to send to the Quarantine Centre for quarantine and monitoring purposes.

Dear Customers,

Please be noticed that a Canon Camera engineer who works at Wyler Centre Phase 2, 200 Tai Lin Pai Road, Kwai Chung, has confirmed infected with COVID-19 on 28 February, and his last working date is 26 February. It is noted that the engineer DOES NOT have direct contact with any of our customers.

The captioned Canon depot will be temporarily closed from 28 February (Sunday) to 3 March (Wednesday) for deep disinfection. 3 staff who are having close contact with this engineer have been arranged to send to the Quarantine Centre for quarantine and monitoring purposes. All other staff station at the same depot shall be arranged to do the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests.

Unavoidable service delays could have resulted in Camera & Printer repairs, Call Center phone enquiries and online chat. Individual notice will be sent to affected customers, and we shall ensure that all safety measures shall be taken place before reopening the captioned office.
