HONG KONG, 18 August 2021— Canon Hongkong announces the launch of the new portable 8K UHD broadcast lens 10x16 KAS S, offering a 10x optical zoom that covers a focal range of 16mm – 160mm. Built for 8K broadcast camcorders, the new 10x16 KAS S delivers high levels of resolution and contrast across the entire frame from the center to the periphery. It also provides the same superior operability as Canon’s 2/3” type portable 4K broadcast zoom lenses. Featuring a compact and lightweight body weighing only 2.9kg, it offers excellent mobility that satisfies the versatile imaging and broadcast television production needs ranging from documentaries to event coverage.
