    HONG KONG, 18th November 2021 – Canon today announces the official launch of the New Black Edition PowerShot ZOOM which is a dedicated tool for wildlife, sports, music concert and kids performance watching and shooting. PowerShot ZOOM received high market attention since launched in April 2021. To answer the high market demand from different customers, Black Edition is now available in Hong Kong. Its innovative and tiny design combine with its ability to capture photos and videos ensures you get to keep memories of valuable moments you come across in your day out.

    A palm size super-telephoto gadget with innovative optical and ergonomic design

    With an innovative optical design, the PowerShot ZOOM brings super-telephoto capability in a palm size body which is approximately 10cm [1] long and weights merely 145g. Its ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and operate with one hand for a long time as all buttons can be easily reached. Thanks to the compact size and light weight of PowerShot ZOOM, it can easily slip into your bag or pocket or sling conveniently around your wrist for safari, trip or wildlife watching.

    Instant 3-step zoom – 100mm, 400mm and 800mm[2] with built-in Powered I.S.

    PowerShot ZOOM provides simple 3-step zoom to instantly switch between 100mm, 400mm and 800mm (digital) [2] by clicking on a button. While providing telephoto viewing capability, this telephoto gadget also allows shooting of 12.1MP photos and Full HD videos. PowerShot ZOOM is equipped with Powered I.S. technology, which is commonly found in Canon’s latest binoculars models, to correct even the most subtle camera shake for sharp images during shooting or just observing distant scenes.

    Convenient power supply and image transfer in the field

    PowerShot ZOOM has a high-capacity built-in battery providing up to 70 minutes of viewing time. It also supports power charging and power supply with USB Type-C PD chargers [3], further expanding the time of onsite usage. When connected to the Canon Camera Connect mobile app [4], remote operation, live view sharing and image transfer to smartphone will be supported, making instant sharing fun and easy.
