HONG KONG, 14 September 2021 — Canon Hong Kong announces the launch of the RF 16mm f/2.8 STM and RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM – expanding creative options for photography enthusiasts using the EOS R system at affordable prices. RF 16mm f/2.8 STM with ultra-wide 16mm focal length makes it easier to capture more of the surroundings in a limited space or further emphasize the perspective of a scene by getting closer and the lightweight design weighs only 165g and 40.2mm in length, greatly improving portability; the RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 USM is a lightweight super telephoto zoom lens which is 164.7mm in length and 635g in weight. The built-in optical image stabilization of the lens allows easy capture of sharp and clear images. Photo enthusiasts can explore new creative possibilities with Canon’s new RF lenses.
