HONG KONG, 8th September 2022— Canon today announces the launch of the New Compact 4K Professional Grade Camcorder XA75, XA70 and XA60. As the latest members of the XA series, the XA75 and XA70 use a 1.0-inch 8.29-megapixel CMOS image sensor to bring low noise and high sensitivity; they are also equipped with a 25.5mm wide-angle 15x optical zoom 4K camera lens and Super UD lens to ensure low chromatic aberration. Together with the XA60, the three new compact professional grade 4K camcorders all support the UVC standard, and users do not need to install additional adapters, greatly simplifying the live streaming process. The three 4K camcorders offer professional and content creators the best choice of professional grade 4K camcorders that combine outstanding optical performance, reliable operability, and intelligent functionality.
In addition, a series of new imaging products have been launched, including Cinema EOS expansion unit EU-V3, wide-angle zoom cine lens - CN8×15 IAS S/E1, CN8×15 IAS S/P1 and 27-inch 4K HDR professional reference display DP-V2730. It strengthens the lineup of Cinema EOS series and meets the needs of users who require high-quality video capture and allowing users to unlock their creativity.
Designed for Cinemas EOS C500 Mark II and C300 Mark II, the expansion unit EU-V3 provide increased connectivity and offers Tally and Return video for multi-camera live production with EOS C500 Mark II and C300 Mark III. The wide-angle zoom Cinema lenses CN8×15 IAS SE/1 and CN8×15 IAS S/P1 support 8K (8192 x 4320 pixels) camera resolution, while bringing 8x Wide-angle cinema zoom lens with 15-120mm focal range and can be extended to 22.5-180mm with built-in 1.5x extender.
Featuring 27-inch 4K UHD (3840x2160 pixels) HDR anti-glare LCD panel and all-white peak luminance of 1000 cd/m² and all-black luminance of 0.001 cd/m², DP-V2730 allows high contrast and faithful color reproduction for use on-set. Compliant with Dolby Vision standards plus enhanced performance, it supports efficient video production workflows for various market needs and achieves precise uniformity.
